Classical Harmony

The aim of the course is the comprehensive training of musicians and composers.

Harmony is the basis for understanding and studying the tonal musical system and its harmonic evolution. The object of study is the primary structural elements of classical music (the way of using melody, harmony and musical phrases). The use of triphonic chords, the dominant with seventh, parenthetical dominants and the most common foreign chords are examined.

The course focuses on the thorough study of composition and connection of chords and is absolutely useful for analyzing the works of the classical and romantic periods of music. 

The “Philippos Nakas – Learn Music Online” Program provides credits to students for successful completion of the course.

The lesson is taught in group.
